Tim Cassi - Varsity/JV


Tim Cassi
Assistant Varsity Coach, Goalie Specialist

Coach Cassi joined the CDM coaching staff in 2012.

Since that time, he has served the program in a variety of roles including assistant Varsity coach, head coach of the JV Blue Team, director of the JV program (JV Blue & JV White teams), and the program's goalie coach. In this critical role, Tim has helped in the development of three outstanding goalies - Michael Ortlieb (All-County, All-American and starter at Holy Cross), Hoyt Crance (All-County, All-American and starter at Yale), and Kyle Cord (2017 First Team All-County as a sophomore).

At King's College
Coach Cassi began his playing career at North Stafford HS in Stafford, VA. From 2005-2009, Cassi was a four-year starting goalie at King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA., where he became the All-Time statistical leader at his position. At the conclusion of his senior year, Coach Cassi received the Monarch Merit Award for his academic and athletic achievement at King's.

After college, he spent a year studying at Durham University in the United Kingdom. While there, he helped lead Durham to a national championship in lacrosse.

Personal
Coach Cassi currently resides in Irvine, California with his wife Stephanie and their son Cooper. He is a real estate broker, working with The Smith Group.
