Connor Pinkston returned to campus and helped the alumni defeat the Kings 10-6.

The Corona Del Mar Lacrosse Alumni returned to campus for the programs traditional and fifth annual CDM Lacrosse Turkey Shoot on Saturday, November 30. After a close first half ended in a 4-4 tie, the alumni pulled away late in the second half to earn a 10-6 win. The first ever for the alumni team.

"That's a pretty good team over there," commented CDM head coach G.W. Mix. "Thank God we had to postpone it a day or they would have had Noah Molnar, both Ortliebs and a few others. If that group is all together, its a damn good Division I lacrosse team. They have all the pieces."

The players Mix referenced had to return back to their respective campuses earlier on Saturday. Molnar played four years at Lehigh. Michael (goalie) and Jack (attack) Ortlieb both play at Holy Cross.

The current Sea KIngs faired well, considering they too were without quite a few of the top returning varsity players. Hoyt Crance (goalie), Hugh Crance (defense), Brett Greenlee (defense), and Chad Redfern (midfield), to name a few, are all starters on CDM's football team and are currently in the midst of a third straight run to a CIF title. They play Garden Grove in the championship game Friday night, Decmber 6 at 7:00 PM at OCC.
