8 Kings honored in post-season.

Hugh Crance (2015), Brett Greenlee (2015), Jason Simaan (2016) and Hoyt Crance (2015).
Eight Sea Kings were named to the 2014 All-County lacrosse teams and junior defenseman Hugh Crance was named a 2014 US Lacrosse All-American.

Hoyt Crance (Goalie/2015), Hugh Crance (Defense/2015), Brett Greenlee (Defense/2015) and Jason Simaan (F.O. Midfield/2016) were all selected as First Team All-County. CDM's four players on the first team is the most since six were so honored in 2012.

In addition to four players on the First Team, Ben Palitz (Attack/2015) was named to the Second Team. Sherwin Gersten (Midfield/2015) received Third Team honors, while Noah Howe (Attack/2015) and Brian Leguay (Defense/2015) were named Honorable Mention.

"It was very fitting these players received All-County recognition," said CDM head coach G.W. Mix. "We certainly believe they are among the best in Orange County, but it is always nice to have opposing coaches recognize their talents and validate our beliefs."

In addition to All-County, Hugh Crance was honored as a US Lacrosse All-American. Crance becomes the eighth Sea King to be named All-American. He joins Noah Molnar (2008 & 2009), Ryan Mix (2009 & 2010), Donald Dalton (2011), Michael Keasey (2012), Michael Ortlieb (2012), Jack Ortlieb (2012) and Casey Mix (2013) on the list of honorees.

"Hugh is one of the top defensemen in the West," Mix added. "There are not too many players who look forward to playing against him. His aggressive nature and athleticism make him a dominant force. It is easy to see why Notre Dame wanted him. He fits into their style of defense very well."
