CDM to honor 14 seniors on June 1
CDM players celebrate another goal in a signature 13-4 win at Torrey Pines.
The Corona del Mar lacrosse team will honor its Class of 2015 on Monday, June 1 at the Harborside Pavilion. The fourteen seniors have played various roles in a remarkable four year run, including a 75-6 record (.925), a CIF Southern Section Championship, two appearances in the Orange County Championship and four consecutive trips to the Orange County semi-finals.
The 2015 season ended with an 18-1 record, the #1 ranking in the Southern Section, #1 ranking in California, and a #21 ranking nationally (according to LaxPower.com).
"This is an incredible group of young men who have shared some memorable times together," said head coach G.W. Mix. "There has been an undefeated season and a CIF championship, many signature wins, some heartbreaking losses, and some somber moments. They have handled all of it, as a team, with humility and integrity. I am so proud and grateful to have been carried along on their great journey."
