Rusty Crowns upset Sea Kings in Turkey Shoot

It took a strong fourth quarter surge to enable the Rusty Crowns to come back from a three goal deficit and defeat the feisty young Sea Kings in the always entertaining CDM Turkey Shoot alumni lacrosse game.


"What a great afternoon for CDM lacrosse," commented head coach G.W. Mix. "This is always such a special day - having the guys come back and interact with this year's team means so much to our program. It's always great to see eveyone and to have a chance to catch up on what is happening with all of them and their families."

The annual Turkey Shoot features a friendly game between the Sea King alumni, comically dubbed the Rusty Crowns, and the current CDM players who were in town for Thanksgiving. After the game, everyone enjoys some street tacos and quite a few good laughs.
